Specialist in polymer and protein characterisation Viscotek has announced its presence at Pittcon 2003 with the latest additions to its range of leading GPC and viscometry products
Specialists in polymer and protein characterisation Viscotek have announced their presence at Pittcon 2003 in Orlando, USA (9th-14th March 2003) with the latest additions to their range of leading GPC and viscometry products.
Based on booth 3140 the company will be showing their unique Triple Detector Array (TDA), that includes a differential refractometer and a patented 4-capillary balanced bridge viscometer acting in concert with a new LALS detector allowing direct determination of absolute molecular weight, size, density and conformation as well as providing structural information such as branching and aggregation.
Technical specialists will be on hand to demonstrate and discuss GPCmax, the world's first integrated pump, autosampler and degasser module designed specifically for GPC/SEC applications.
Benefiting from Viscotek's experience of providing leading edge solutions for polymer characterisation, the GPCmax delivers the superior performance you would expect from an optimised system.
The GPCmax has also been engineered to ensure high reliability at an affordable price.
For laboratories where traceable data is of primary importance the ability to provide integrated system control and data acquisition from the same software represents a major step forward.
Recently introduced OmniSEC version 2.0 is the first 21CFR part 11 compliant GPC/SEC software package and provides an integrated software solution that helps maximise the information extraction and efficiency of polymer and protein characterisation experiments.
Also on display will be the Dual Detector a differential viscometer and a light scattering detector product specifically designed to be added to an existing GPC/SEC system equipped with a concentration detector, instantly converting it into a powerful triple detector system.
