Software is able to import and analyse up to six channels of data simultaneously at 5Hz to handle even the most demanding copolymer multi-detector analysis
Viscotek, a provider of comprehensive GPC/SEC solutions, has announced the release of Omnisec version 3.0, a powerful software package for multiple detection analysis of polymers, proteins and peptides.
With enhanced data acquisition capabilities, Omnisec 3.0 is able to import and analyse up to six channels of data simultaneously at 5Hz to handle even the most demanding copolymer multi-detector analysis.
The new software provides full audit trail and further enhancements ensuring 21CFR part 11 compliance. Omnisec 3.0 supports most commercially available GPC detectors and provides whole system integrated software control and support for Viscotek's range of GPC/SEC systems including the popular GPCmax.
Omnisec 3.0 increases the information available from GPC/SEC experiments through enhancements to branching and calibration calculations, copolymer analysis, overlays, multiple peak detection and data acquisition.
These enhancements and additional features such as a new peak detection algorithm and calculation of A2 make Omnisec 3.0 the most versatile and user-friendly GPC/SEC software package available today, says Viscotek.
Highly interactive, Omnisec 3.0 provides support for all branching calculations and instantaneous recalculation when adjusting baseline or integration limits.
Users can also watch the effect of changing a method on simultaneous overlays in real time.
It further increases productivity with calculation of molecular weight averages and distribution plots for one or more peaks per sample.
With advanced capabilities for calculating conventional and universal calibration data and performing copolymer analysis, Omnisec 3.0 covers the full range of GPC/SEC for any sample type or calculation technique.
In addition, a proprietary peak detection algorithm enhances productivity by completely automating multiple detection analysis in both production and quality control environments.
Omnisec 3.0 delivers a range of additional features including asymmetrical peak broadening correctio, mass marker extrapolation and a modified pharmacopoeia broad standard calibration.
The new version also includes low angle light scattering (Lals) and right angle light scattering (Rals) options for calculation of molecular weight determination and automatic determination of dn/dc, dA/dc and A2. Omnisec 3.0 is available as a free upgrade to all existing users of Omnisec 1.0 and 2.0 and provides a powerful upgrade to users of previous generation Trisec software.
