Watson-Marlow Bredel has extended its laboratory offerings with the introduction of its new 400 series pumps rated from microlitres to hundreds of millilitres per minute
The new 400 series from Watson-Marlow Bredel is a range of compact single, dual and multi channel pumps typically suited to applications ranging from microlitres to hundreds of millilitres per minute, all of which provide manual and auto-analogue speed control and remote switching options.
The 400 series compliments existing 200, 300, 500 and 600 series pumps to give customers in the laboratory sector an unrivalled choice in the flow rate range of between 0.001ml and 730ml per minute, through one to four channels.
The new models offer a smaller footprint for applications where space is at a premium.
At the entry level, the 400 range offers basic functionality making it extremely price competitive.
All pumpheads have precision machined aluminium rotors and low friction stainless steel rollers, to give accurate and reliable flows.
The 400 series conforms to IP21 standards, and offers all the normal advantages of peristaltic pumps: zero contamination, sterility, easy cleaning, accurate metering, low shear, smooth flow and reliability.
It can also be fitted with Watson-Marlow Sta-Pure and Chem-Sure, composite expanded PTFE tubing for unrivalled hygiene or chemical resistance.
Mike Sullivan, marketing manager at Watson-Marlow Bredel comments; "Watson-Marlow Bredel has always had a strong presence in the laboratory sector, and recent innovations, particularly in the area of improved hygienic and chemically resistant tube elements for the pumps, have greatly increased the range of operating parameters, opening up a host of new applications. "The new 400 series is yet another example of our commitment to this important area, and there will be further developments in the coming months.
