One-day event in Runcorn in November will provide an introduction to the performance of filters and their characterisation
Whitehouse Scientific is to sponsor the forthcoming Filtration Society conference - 'Characterisation, filter testing and quality standards'.
This one-day event will be held at the Heath Conference Centre, Runcorn, UK, on 27 November 2003 and will provide an introduction to the performance of filters and their characterisation.
It will encompass the latest developments in this area and a commercial exhibition will run alongside the meeting.
The conference is being organised by Graham Rideal, a member of the council of the Filtration Society and managing director of Whitehouse Scientific.
Topics to be discussed will include: pore size measurement by the two most popular methods - bubble point and challenge tests; precision particle size analysis methods; and final quality performance of filter media. Leading companies in the field will be discussing both benchmark instruments and the latest developments.
Particular emphasis will be placed on new and emerging technologies.
