Madison Filter, part of the largest industrial filter media company in the world, has adopted the Whitehouse Scientific microsphere method for calibrating its new range of Precision test sieves.
The meshes for the new range of sieves have been pre-selected to give an actual aperture size as close as possible to the normal size in both the ISO and ASTM sieve series.
Each sieve is then individually calibrated to NIST standards and stamped with the actual aperture size.
A major advantage is that the sieves can be recalibrated by the analyst and do not have to be returned to the manufacturer.
