Endecotts has a state-of-the-art microscope technique for calibrating sieves according to ISO methods.
However, there are difficulties in interpreting the results in terms of actual sieve performance.
As a result the company has sought a complementary unambiguous method.
Whitehouse Scientific's method of sieve calibration gives a single result which is the actual 'cut point' of a sieve.
This makes it much easier to match the performance of sieves.
The calibration can be performed easily by the operator and does not require the sieves to be returned to the manufacturer for re-calibration.
This novel technique takes only one minute to perform and is Nist traceable.
