Greatly speed the entry of text messages and control and setting parameters, and offers enhanced security in applications governed by 21CFR Part 11
A new wireless remote-control keypad option has been introduced by Yokogawa UK to simplify data entry on its Daqstation DX100P and DX200P range of paperless recorders for pharmaceutical applications.
Not only does the new unit greatly speed the entry of text messages and control and setting parameters: it also offers enhanced security in applications governed by FDA Regulation 21CFR Part 11, since the user's name, ID and password are not displayed on the recorder's screen during entry.
The keypad provides control of all recorder functions, and one remote-control unit can operate up to 32 recorders at distances of up to 8m.
Operational functions include user name/user ID/password input for logging in, message input, engineering mode setting, system mode setting, and trend/digital/bargraph display change.
The keypad unit measures 170 x 50 x 23.7mm, weighs 60g, and operates on two AA type batteries.
