The MV100 MobileCorder from Yokogawa Martron is a compact portable data logger equipped with a large colour screen for the instant readout and monitoring of online data
The MV100 MobileCorder, new from Yokogawa, is a compact portable data logger equipped with a large colour screen for the instant readout and monitoring of online data.
The instrument is available with 2, 4, 6 or 12 input channels, and has built-in signal conditioning for voltage and temperature measurement.
The colour screen can be used to display analogue trends, digital data and alarm information.
The analogue trend mode can be set up to enable the MV100 to be used as a paperless chart recorder or converted to a bargraph display mode for real-time graphic monitoring.
The MV100 is equipped with a large (1.2 Mbyte) internal memory which can be extended using a PCMCIA ATA flash memory card slot, giving up to 160 Mbyte capacity.
Other storage options include a floppy-disk drive and a 100 Mbyte ZIP drive. During the recording process, historical data may be displayed on the screen without interruption to the real-time data acquisition.
During long-term monitoring, the MV100 may be set to capture fast events at high resolution initiated by a preset event trigger.
A built-in Ethernet connection enables the MV100 to be connected directly to a PC or network.
Voltage input ranges have a maximum resolution of 10 ‘V, and accuracy is 0.1% of reading.
Temperature inputs include all commonly used thermocouples and RTD sensors.
During long-term monitoring applications, data can be automatically saved to a removable storage medium, enabling the instrument to be used for long-term unattended operation.
Separately available software packages provide powerful data-view functions and enable the MV100 to be easily integrated into a network configuration.
The instrument weighs only 4 kg, and is available for use with AC mains or DC power supplies.
