Development allows ESA's unique and powerful HPLC detectors, including its new Corona CAD charged aerosol detector, to be added to any of the HPLC systems supported and controlled by EZChrom Elite
Scientific Software (SSI) and ESA Biosciences report that a new software control package for ESA HPLC and detectors is available for the EZChrom Elite chromatography data system.
This new development allows ESA's unique and powerful HPLC detectors, including its new Corona CAD charged aerosol detector, to be added to any of the HPLC systems supported and controlled by EZChrom Elite.

"EZChrom Elite client/server systems can now add control of the ESA HPLC detector, pump and autosampler to provide our customers with extended capabilities.
The Corona CAD's 'revolutionary' technology is applicable for measuring virtually any non- or semi-volatile compound such as drug compounds, carbohydrates, steroids, proteins, lipids, peptides and sugars.
According to John Christensen, vice-president of marketing and sales at ESA: "the groundbreaking method can be used effectively in a wide range of industries: pharmaceutical, industrial chemical, polymer, food and life science research, and by being controlled through SSI's EZChrom Elite software, this ESA detector along with other unique ESA systems can be run in a wide variety of laboratories".
The new ESA software control includes control for the ESA Coulochem II and III electrochemical detectors, UV detectors, Chromachem detector, and the new Corona charged aerosol detector.
It also gives complete software control for the ESA model 542 autosampler and the ESA model 582 HPLC pump.
EZChrom Elite can be deployed in single user workstation or multi-user client/server operations.
Optional software control of more than 260 various HPLC, GC and IC instruments, including those from Agilent, ESA, Shimadzu, Hitachi, PerkinElmer, Varian, Thermo Electron and many others is available in EZChrom Elite.
