Advanced Chemistry Development (ACD/Labs) says its freeware chemical drawing package, ChemSketch, has been updated to match the majority of capabilities present in the commercial version 8.0.

This is the motivation behind ACD/Labs's donation of freeware ChemSketch to the scientific community, and the driving force behind the recent decision to expand the freeware capabilities to version 8.0.
