Noblegen says there has never been a better time to replace high pressure cylinder gas for a gas generator.
The company has now added a lifetime warranty to the carbon molecular sieve used in its PSA nitrogen systems.
This takes away the possibility of any high repair costs should something go wrong in years to come, and ensures that customers have a low cost and reliable source of laboratory gas for years, says the company.
The reliability of Noblegen's laboratory nitrogen gas generators has always been its major selling point, it says.
Noblegen has kept with its PSA (pressure swing adsorption) technique, over other techniques such as membrane, to produce very high or low purity nitrogen gas primarily for the laboratory gas market.
In the past the only real disadvantage of gas generators, which are used as a replacement for high pressure cylinder gas, has been the servicing and reliability.
However, Noblegen believes it has now come up with one of the best solutions available on the gas generator market today.
By running the service meter to count generating time only, rather than the more conventional continuous hours, it has extended service intervals by up to 30% in some cases.
To add to this advantage Noblegen says it is proving its extremely high reliability by putting a lifetime warranty on the carbon sieve, which is the backbone of its process.
Managing director Duncan Bradley says: "We believe this is a first in the UK for gas generator manufacturer, and shows that we are at the forefront of product development in this field.
"With 15 years in the design and development of laboratory gas generators, we have made subtle but effective design changes which has improved reliability, which has allowed us to pass on this lifetime warranty onto our partners and customers, something other techniques would not allow".
Now, says the company, customers of Noblegen's PSA systems can purchase a gas generator knowing that in years to come if something should go wrong on of the most expensive but most critical components within its system, it carries a full manufacturers warranty for life.
High pressure cylinder gas can be reliably replaced by a low pressure on-site gas generator, allowing the user to take control of their own gas usage and requirements.
