The system provides simple interaction between the instrument and the user, yet deliver the versatility and capability needed in today's demanding environments
The Metrohm 811 Online ion chromatograph (IC) is designed to provide continuous sample analysis in a process environment.
The 811 meets and/or exceeds the highest industry standards for process IC applications.
The system provides simple interaction between the instrument and the user, yet deliver the versatility and capability needed in today's demanding environments while offering the lowest cost of ownership in the market today, says Metrohm.
The 811 offers maximum up-time with a minimum of user intervention.
Easy access to the operational components allows for efficient routine maintenance and/or troubleshooting.
More than two decades ago, the Metrohm group began to develop online titration instrumentation to provide timely data for production process control.
After having gained an excellent reputation with the online titrators, Metrohm has expanded its product line to include online IC.
The wide range of isocratic chemistries, combined with new high capacity columns, provide the user the tools to optimise the instrumentation to their specific analytical needs.
The 811 can be custom-tailored to fit most IC applications.
The single-channel instrument allows either anions or cations to be analysed.
The dual channel version is normally used to analyse anions and cations simultaneously, and is housed in the single channel cabinet.
Each channel is equipped with a ten-port sampling valve with random access capability.
The sample sequence is user defined and is easily modified to accommodate grab samples.
Proven components have been incorporated into the 811, including a serial dual-piston eluent pump with easy to replace piston seals and check valves, two electrically actuated inject valves, an extremely sensitive conductivity detector with heated cell and signal preamplifier (controlled to within 0.01C), and a software package with versatile data export capabilities.
Routine access to the components is provided through a plexi-glass front panel, which also allows for visual inspection of the running system.
Service is facilitated via a swing out door, exposing all electronics and modules.
The Metrohm Suppressor Module is used for anion analyses.
It is uniquely designed to be not only rugged and long lasting, but by back-flush cleaning and regeneration after every sample, many problems are averted or eliminated, including system equlibration times.
As an added bonus, the MSM is 100% solvent compatible enabling the use of organic modifiers in the eluent to achieve the desired separations.
The 811 Online IC brings process analysis to a new level of productivity and reliability in a simple to use and maintain package, while providing excellent analytical results at the lowest yearly cost of ownership of any process IC available.
