A new 64-page colour catalogue from Norres Schlauchtechnik describes its vast range of standard ex-stock hoses in a wide choice of materials and designs, as well as their many different applications
The diverse product range results from 100 years of experience built up by Norres in technical and industrial hoses.
The nine sections of the new catalogue describe typical applications, properties and the type of hose construction - Protape, Airduc, Barduc, and other flexible designs like CP Clip Hose.
Two pages preceding each product section explain the meaning of the icons at the head of each hose product type.
These show the essential characteristics of each type of hose product and facilitate the task of product selection.
Norres offers hoses suitable for practically any purpose.
There are, for example, highly abrasion resistant polyurethane (PUR) hoses, crushproof, highly flexible, food contact approved and flame retardant hoses, as well as anti-static and explosion protection area conductive hoses based on the use of electrically conductive PUR and polyethylene (PE).
Other special materials mentioned in the catalogue include not only ether polyurethane, but also a special ester polyurethane/ether polyurethane block co-polymer used in the Pre-PUR hoses for enhanced properties compared with hoses manufactured from other plastics, rubbers and 'simple' polyurethanes.
PVC-free hoses and custom colouring in the bead area for some of the hose products are just two further options available from Norres.
The majority of PUR hoses as well as the flexible PVC, PE and thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) ones involve various constructions with a spiral steel wire reinforcement.
There are also full plastic PUR hoses using rigid PVC spirals and EVA hoses with a self-supporting profile, including an anti-static version.
The catalogue also shows hoses made entirely of wound metal strips, or metal hoses with a PVC inner hose.
Some of the anti-static hoses use combinations of several different materials such as coated polyester or glass fabric with semi-conductive PTFE film and steel.
Tremendous diversity in materials and design enables Norres Schlauchtechnik to offer hoses for all purposes and all industries as standard catalogue products.
And if that is not sufficient, the R and D department is equipped to develop customised hoses.
