Starlims has announced the formation of an alliance with Izasa to distribute Starlims throughout Spain and Portugal
The alliance significantly extends Starlims's position in the Iberian peninsula as part of the company's growth strategy throughout Europe.
Izasa is described as the principal leader in sales and distribution of clinical, laboratory and medical products in Spain and Portugal.
Through this agreement Izasa will take responsibility for providing Starlims marketing, sales and service support, leveraging a strong geographical presence in twelve locations in Spain and two in Portugal.
Izasa's distribution and service capabilities deployed throughout the Iberian peninsula augmented by Starlims's Madrid-based delivery team, will provide full implementation and project execution services to Spain and Portugal's growing pharmaceutical, public health, environmental and process industries.

IZASA, based in Barcelona, is said to be Spain's largest distributor of clinical and industrial laboratory products, hospital products and medical devices, focusing on specialised markets.
