Advances in laboratory glassware manufacturing technology enables unique serial number and date of manufacture to be laser etched into the base of the flask, so that each item can be identified
For several years, volumetric flasks have been supplied with batch codes, allowing traceability to a production batch.
It has never been possible however to identify individual flasks within a batch - until now.
Thanks to recent advances in laboratory glassware manufacturing technology, Barloworld Scientific, manufacturers of world renowned brands Pyrex and E-Mil, can now supply flasks with unique serial numbers and date of manufacture, allowing for ease of identification and improved traceability.
The user can easily trace each Pyrex and E-Mil flask as an individual item within the laboratory and at a glance know the exact age of the flask, without reference to paper certificates.
The serial number and date of manufacture are laser etched into the base of the flask and will withstand harsh environments such as repeated washing cycles.
A batch certificate is also supplied with the usual production batch number and quality control data.
