DaqLog 4000/GPS data logger offers a cost-effective solution for remote monitoring of process signals for temperature, pressure, level, flow, vibration and many other critical parameters
The DaqLog 4000/GPS from Adept Scientific is a standalone data logger that uses GPS technology to identify its location and the standard mobile phone (GSM) network to communicate with a modem-equipped PC - so users can download measurement data from anywhere in the world.
The DaqLog 4000/GPS data logger offers a cost-effective solution for remote monitoring of process signals for temperature, pressure, level, flow, vibration and many other critical parameters.
It also has a serial input for GPS data so the logger is able to combine measurement of a number of analogue inputs with global position data.
Historical and real time data can be accessed worldwide using the GSM mobile phone network.
The system may be programmed to send SMS text message alerts to up to four mobile numbers in the event of a high/low alarm, external power failure or memory full condition.
The DaqLog 4000/GPS also sends a daily SMS status message.
Individual loggers may also be interrogated from any GSM mobile by sending an SMS message to the logger with the appropriate security code.
The logger will then send its status, including current readings and any alarms, to the mobile which interrogated it.
Features include: data logger with integral GSM modem; integral battery backup; view realtime and historical data remotely over the GSM network; up to six analogue inputs 0-5V, 4-20mA, 30k thermistor temperature sensor (-30 to +120C); serial input for GPS position (an external GPS sensor is optionally available); pulse counter or AC input for flow measurement/totalisation; daily SMS status message; power failure SMS alarm; SMS control feature; alarm function with SMS text messaging.
DaqLog is supplied and supported in the UK and Ireland by Adept Scientific.
