Radiometer Analytical has relaunched its knowledge site Bloodgas under a new name, Acutecaretesting, to better reflect the changes the resource has undergone.
Anne Skurup, editor of Acutecaretesting, said: 'The biggest change is in the scope of our articles.
'When we launched Bloodgas in 2002, our main focus was blood gas and blood-gas related parameters.
'But as the years went on, we found ourselves increasingly dealing with other acute care testing topics adjacent to blood gas, such as tight glycemic control and cardiac markers.
'These topics reflect the everyday of our readers, so instead of shying away from them, we decided to embrace them.' The company said the site has also improved its look and usability, and has reorganised the information it holds in a way that is more intuitive to users.
Its search function has also been optimised.
