Anachem is offering the Gilson GX-271/4 Aspec solid-phase extraction system for processing samples up to and beyond 1l.
Suitable for performing pre-analysis sample clean-up, the standard Gilson GX-271/4 Aspec uses one, three and 6ml SPE cartridges with sample volumes as high as 100ml.
The system's large-volume capabilities are achieved by incorporating a set of Valvemate II switching valves and new racks.
These select samples directly and allow them to be positioned off the liquid handler bed and drawn straight from their bottles.
As well as its 1l loading capacity, the (LV SPE) Aspec can accommodate the one, three and 6ml cartridges for methods that require larger volumes of elution or faster throughput.
A mobile rack specific for 47mm SPE disks is available for use with the Waters Oasis HLB Disks and Bakerbond products.
Typical loading flow rates between 50 and 200ml/min can be achieved with the use of a sample-loading pump, pumping both clean and dirty water.
Operated by Gilson Trilution software, the (LV SPE) Aspec allows users to run samples with minimal effort while retaining the flexibility required for method-development needs and routine QC requirements.
