Biotage has announced two new additions to its Snap XL range of cartridges for large-scale and development purification.
Released in 750 and 1,500g sizes, the cartridges offer solutions for reverse-phase chromatography (KP-C18-HS) and optimised silica for the separation of amines (KP-NH).
The two cartridge sizes address a growing need for 100g-plus scale purifications and offer chemists increased efficiency while reducing running costs.
Additionally, the application of reverse phase flash chromatography and the separation of amines are growing trends in pharmaceutical drug development.
Alongside the KP-Sil cartridges for normal phase chromatography, these Snap XL cartridges further compliment Biotage's portfolio of flash-chromatography solutions, which offer scalability from milligrams to 100-plus grams.
The overall Snap cartridge line offers a range of options covering the chemist's needs from the routine to highly specialised or complex separations.
