Qosina has launched two one-handed hemostasis valves.
Part number 80328 has an internal diameter that accepts up to seven French and features a push-pull mechanism, allowing a single-handed process to open and close the valve.
Part number 80329 accepts up to nine French and also features a push-pull mechanism to open and close the valve.
This valve can also be closed the traditional way by turning the cap three times to seal.
Once it is sealed in this manner, the valve has a lock feature, where it cannot be re-opened via the push-pull method.
This provides the valve with an additional way for securing its position.
These valves are made of polycarbonate and silicone, and feature a rotating male luer lock and female luer lock side port.
The side port is used to flush out the line or to check pressure.
