Two day workshop in Nuneaton in April will involve seminars covering both theoretical and practical aspects of rheology as well as practical and informal sessions
This rheology workshop, 28-29 April 2004, is aimed at those who are either new to rheology or those that have been involved for some time and would like to learn more about this fascinating subject.
The workshop will involve seminars covering both theoretical and practical aspects of rheology as well as practical and informal sessions.
The aim is that, by the time you leave the rheology workshop you will be able to understand the basic theory associated with rheology, design meaningful experiments to characterise your materials, appreciate the potential problems and pitfalls in making a measurement, and interpret the resulting data.
Delegates will also receive a copy of the Rheology Handbook, which is a practical guide to rheology written by course leader Thomas Mezger.
The workshop will be held at the Griff House Hotel in Nuneaton, UK, which is easily reached from junction 3 of the M6.
Delegates will also have access to the extensive leisure facilities at Cannons Health Club, a five minute walk from the hotel.
Places will be limited to 12 people ensuring a good ratio of delegates to tutors/instruments during the practical sessions.
