Gas analysis systems comprise a quadrupole mass spectrometer with vacuum manifold, differential pumping system and rapid response capillary inlet designed for sampling at atmospheric pressures
Hiden Analytical introduce the QIC series of instruments.
This is described as a range of complete gas analysis systems comprising Hiden's quadrupole mass spectrometer with vacuum manifold, differential pumping system and rapid response capillary inlet.
The system has been designed for sampling at atmospheric pressures.
The pressure range from 10mbar to 30bar can be accommodated.
Additional functionality can be added with multi-way sampling, flow control interface, quantitative calculation software, liquid nitrogen cryopanel, corrosive species handling, temperature input and control, hot zone inlet, Nist reference library or calibration module options.
Hiden's MASsoft software can be run on a Windows PC.
From the integral scan gallery.
simple point-and-click commands provide for automatic scanning and storage of key gas concentrations with results being presented in any of the available view styles.
For more sophisticated applications MASsoft enables the creation, storage and initiation of event sequences so that complete experiments can be set-up, stored and recalled for automatic data acquisition.
Working in conjunction with the 32bit processing capability of Hiden's RC interface unit, MASsoft features intelligent trip controls and extensive I/O facilities with simultaneous local and remote control of multiple systems using ethernet Lan.
Up to 30 systems can be accommodated on a single ethernet Lan with bridges being used to connect additional units.
This ensures minimal hardware requirements for multi-chamber monitoring.
