Camspec's new six-page M500 series brochure features both the M550 double beam and the M501 single beam scanning UV/visible spectrophotometers
Camspec has issued a new six-page M500 series brochure.
This features both the M550 double beam and the M501 single beam scanning UV/visible spectrophotometers.
The user can easily compare the specifications of both instruments and choose double or single beam.
The M550 has an even higher specification for bandwidth, stray light, noise and stability.
The list of accessories and the built-in methods (including scanning, concentration calibration curves, kinetics and DNA) are almost the same for both instruments.
Single beam is recommended for users who normally measure at a fixed wavelength but occasionally scan samples.
Double beam is recommended where the data in the scanned spectrum is important.
The brochure can be viewed and downloaded from the Camspec website or a printed version is available.
