In additional to its special optical couplers for horizontal mounting of the camera, Microstereopis now offers the option for vertical placement of the camera in relation to the dual port beamsplitter
Microstereopis announces the latest options for its Retro Opsis DV digital stereo 3D microscopy system.
Retro-Opsis DV is now offered with the latest compact XGA (1024x768) colour cameras with real time (30fps) operation.
These cameras are C-mount and include Firewire 1394a interface to the operating system.
In additional to its special optical couplers for horizontal mounting of the camera, Microstereopis now offers the option for vertical placement of the camera in relation to the dual port beamsplitter.
Retro-Opsis DV is fully configured now for just about US$25,000 (less microscope) and is capable of real time stereo 3D viewing (active LC shuttered), on-the-fly digital recording, editing of uncompressed footage and compression routine prior to DVD burning.
The systems now include a DVD R+W bay and full one terabyte Raid recording system.
All direct viewing is from standard CRT display.
Plans are underway now for the latest in Blu-Ray and/or HD-DVD capabilities before the end of 2006.
A new passive viewing stereo 3D projection mode for Retro-View (3D playback of DVD-Rom) is now available and several new features of TriD (operating software) will be offered in Q2-06.
