The Brinell, Rockwell and Vickers tests contained within BS EN ISO 6506:1999, BS EN ISO 6507:1998 or BS EN ISO 6508:1999, are being revised and replaced by a new series.
Metal manufacturers, users and testers need to update their standards to keep up to speed with industry changes by adopting the guidance provided in the following revisions from BSI Business Information.

The standards provide guidance on test method, verification and calibration of testing machines, calibration of reference blocks, tables of hardness values.
