ST Japan has released new ATR-FTIR spectral libraries and says it now offers one of the largest and most advanced ATR-FTIR spectra collection worldwide.
This outstanding collection with total 29,685 high-quality ATR-FTIR spectra is subdivided in tailored databases meeting a wide range of application requirements including polymers, biochemicals, food, cosmetic, flavours and fragrances, and many other industry-specific categories.
All spectra were collected of samples of highest purity produced by fine chemical manufacturers in Japan and Aldrich - therefore, the spectra are of important, chemically significant compounds.
In accordance with user applications the databases are available as a full collection and also in subsets, such as databases of polymers, additives, biochemicals, food, cosmetics, flavours and fragrances, forensics, etc.
This classifications in subcategories meet the needs of the practicing spectrocopist and make the databases ideal for investigative analysis or quality control applications.
The libraries were produced with a 2cm-1 data resolution and a spectral range of 4000-400 cm-1 and 4000 to 650 cm-1, respectively.
All data was collected with 16 bit ordinate precision.
Naturally, all databases are compatible with the majority of the common spectra formats.
During Analytica 2004 in Munich ST Japan-Europe offers to all visitors a free library search and interpretation service of spectra of unknown samples.
