GenoLogics and Proteome Software, a developer of proteomics data visualisation software, have announced a collaboration to provide an integrated package for proteomics research.
Initially the two companies will work together to promote the synergies between GenoLogics's Proteuslims and Proteome Software's Scaffold software for advanced data visualisation and mining of protein searches.
Over the coming months, the companies intend to develop closer integration of their two products.
"The collaboration brings together the best of breed in scientific data management and visualisation for protein search and analysis and will benefit customers of both companies," notes James DeGreef , VP product management for GenoLogics.
"Researchers can take advantage of using multiple protein search engines in their clinical proteomics and biomarker research to gain more insight into the data and advance their research to the next level".

GenoLogics will be exhibiting at the US Hupo conference in Boston, 12-15 March 2006, and will be joined by Proteome Software at the booth.
