With an 18kg ice capacity, the Lyotrap-Ultra has quickly become known as the ideal choice for laboratory and pilot processes where high product volumes and long running times between defrosts are required, says the firm Microprocessor controlled, the floor standing Lyotrap-Ultra incorporates an electric defrost facility to ensure minimal downtime.
The model also features and LCD display and vacuum parameters and incorporates a safety system to prevent the integral vacuum being activated until the temperature has reached -30C.
Boasting the same controls and features as the Lyotrap-Ultra, the Lyotrap Bench Top model, with microprocessor controls, has a 5kg ice capacity and a vacuum pump connection and drain point.
The Mini-Lyotrap with its 3kg ice capacity is simple to operate and is ideal for freeze drying, solvent recovery and vacuum apparatus protection and shares many of the standard features of other models.
The Lyotrap Plus has a 4kg ice capacity.
This versatile microprocessor-controlled unit is ideal for many applications in a variety of diverse fields - from pharmaceutical preparations to tissue grafts.
A dual chamber arrangement, consisting of a separate condenser and built in temperature controlled work chamber, incorporates an electric defrost system that eliminates the need to pre-freeze many sample types.
This model also incorporates four temperature probes that can be used to monitor the load conditions.
A wide variety of ports and manifolds are available for all four models, including software for control and monitoring via a personal computer for the Lyotrap-Plus.
