Critical fluid handling components manufacturer Diba Industries has recently been audited and certified an ISO 9001:2000 company by its registrar, QMI Management Systems Registration.
During the registration process, representatives from QMI conducted an on-site audit of Diba's business practices covering all aspects of operation: design, development, manufacturing, and service.
At the conclusion of the review, the registrars verified that the company meets the rigorous requirements set forth by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2000 management standards.
The certification is valid until September of 2008, subject to biannual reviews to ensure continued compliance.
"Quality in all facets of our operations has always been a driving force within Diba," commented company president, Chuck Dubois.
"Attaining ISO certification provides our customers with unbiased validation of our successful quality program." Diba, part of the multinational Halma technology group, provides custom engineered critical fluid handling components and services.
Diba technology includes flared tubing assemblies, lined or coated aspirate dispense probes with level sensing, in-line heaters, and custom caps for reagent and waste bottles.
