LGInternational, manufacturer of advanced labelling solutions, launches line of label printers and offers first on-demand label printing solution certified for cleanroom usage
For cleanrooms in markets such as semiconductor and storage media, LGI has applied its time-tested CleanMark particulate removal process to offer CleanMark certified printers for cleanroom.
"The cleanroom market has been relying on our CleanMark products for years, but many of our customers have expressed frustration that there hasn't been a viable alternative for on-demand printing in the cleanroom," explains Lane Kagey, vice president of operations, LGInternational.
"Now, we can offer a comprehensive on-demand label printing solution with a range of printer and ribbon options that are ideally suited for use with our CleanMark labels, notes and ribbons." Similar to cleanroom users, pharmaceutical, medical, educational, and bioscience laboratories have demanding requirements for label printing.
Labels must be able to withstand a variety of conditions, including deep-freeze cycles, autoclave sterilization, and harsh chemicals and stains.
"What's nice about these printers for the laboratory is that they accommodate a wide range of label sizes and types, so our customers can easily label anything from a vial top, to slides, tubes and bottles," states Kent Bogert, vice president of sales and marketing, LGInternational.
"Plus, they have the flexibility to print linear and 2D barcodes, text and graphics".
"We even offer printer ribbons that withstand acetone wipings." LGInternational's label printers start at just US$549 for standard printers and $799 for CleanMark certified printers.
LGInternational develops advanced labeling solutions for the most demanding markets, including semiconductor, storage media, life sciences, and electronics.
Established in 1978, LGI's products are used by companies throughout the world for applications such as product identification and decoration, product assembly, product packaging and security.
