These new courses, 'Adme, PK/TK, and drug metabolism in drug discovery and development' and 'Developability assessment - the logical approach to discovery lead selection' have been developed and will be taught by Dr Duane Lakings.
Lakings has over 25 years of experience in drug discovery and developability assessment, preclinical and non-clinical development, and clinical development and has designed and conducted animal and human research studies on both small organic molecules and macromolecules.
His primary areas of expertise include pharmacokinetics and toxicokinetics, drug metabolism and Adme, drug delivery, and bioanalytical chemistry and he has excellent knowledge of the pharmacology, toxicology, and clinical requirements for successful drug development.
CfPIE's educational conferences are designed to address the latest issues affecting R+D, manufacturing and regulatory affairs topics in the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device and skin/cosmetic industries.
Training provided by CfPIE has been utilized by over 600 corporations, federal and state governments and numerous non-profit agencies.
A number of these organizations have designated CfPIE as their primary provider of external training.
