National Instruments UK and Ireland has been named among the UK's 50 Best Workplaces in the Financial Times 2006 best workplaces special report
Listed for the first time, NI was ranked 40th in the Financial Times 2006 Best Workplaces Special Report.
NI employees identified the company's fun and friendly work environment and ethical culture among the characteristics which make the company a great place to work.
"When he started the company 30 years ago, James Truchard, NI president, cofounder and CEO, wanted to create a job that he would be excited to go to every day, as well as a work environment that employees would enjoy just as much" said Francis Griffiths, NI European director.
"As we celebrate our company's 30th anniversary this year, we look forward to continuing this tradition of fun, innovation and excellence in the years to come".
"We are thrilled to receive this honour and it is validation that National Instruments continues to move in the right direction" said Ajit Gokhale, NI UK and Ireland managing director.
"NI views its employees as its most valuable resource, and its 'people advantage' - hiring the best and the brightest, creating a great work environment and offering superior employee development - as central to the long-term success of the company".
About the Financial Times 2006 best workplaces special report.
The Great Place to Work Institute compiles the list of best workplaces for the Financial Times each year, surveying employees from participating companies.
Two-thirds of the ranking is based on how these employees respond to the independent survey measuring the quality of their workplace culture.
The remainder of the score is based on the evaluation of company responses to a Culture Audit.
