Collaboration with UCLA School of Dentistry features use of OptiCell in 3-D Culture System.
The Division of Oral Biology and Medicine in the UCLA School of Dentistry found that OptiCell could be easily adapted for use creating multi-layer constructs from different substrates.
The design of the OptiCell chamber enabled cross-section viewing of all layers at all times.
Their research involving the use of this novel 3-D culture system provided an excellent in vitro model to study cancer cell invasion and to test conditions or mediators of cellular migration.
