InforSense announces the appointment of CTC Laboratory Systems (CTCLS) as a distributor in Japan, and a member of InforSense's distributor network
InforSense's workflow-based integrative analytics environment, InforSense KDE, enables enterprises in the life science and healthcare domains to create, integrate and leverage decision making knowledge more effectively.
CTCLS will provide local marketing and support for the latest versions of InforSense's innovative informatics platform in the growing Japanese marketplace.
Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Itochu Techno-Science (CTC), the parent company of CTCLS, is a leading distributor and system integrator of state-of-the-art computer systems and software in Japan.
CTCLS itself has extensive and long-standing knowledge of the life science and healthcare marketplace in Japan and will provide sales and front-line support for the full InforSense product portfolio.
"We are delighted to be able to work with InforSense as we see their leading workflow-based technology fulfilling an unmet need for many Japanese life science and healthcare companies," said Taizo Watanabe, president of CTC Laboratory Systems.
"With InforSense KDE, scientists and informaticians can make better use of existing investments in data and software tools to support their business decisions and processes".
"InforSense is experiencing strong demand for its products within the Japanese marketplace and we welcome CTC as our partner in bringing our technology to a wider customer-base," said Joseph Donahue, chief business officer of InforSense.
"Their established relationships with many companies within the life science and healthcare domains should prove invaluable as InforSense grows its user-base in Japan."
