The new SE1000 combines Klarite with an easy-to-use compact Raman spectrometer and ACD/Labs UV-IR software, offering an all-in-one toolkit for Sers analysis
Advanced Chemistry Development (ACD/Labs) and Mesophotonics announce that Mesophotonics's new SE1000 Raman system will now include ACD/Labs UV-IR software for processing, interpreting, searching, and managing Raman spectra.
Mesophotonics provides trace level detection solutions for applications including drug development, forensic detection, medical diagnostics, homeland security, and general analytical chemistry.
The company's Klarite substrates for surface enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) offer 'unparalleled' levels of reproducibility and signal consistency enabling rapid detection to parts per billion level.
The new SE1000 combines Klarite with an easy-to-use compact Raman spectrometer and ACD/Labs UV-IR software, offering an all-in-one toolkit for Sers analysis.
UV-IR Processor and UV-IR Manager are part of SpecManager, the overall spectroscopic processing and data management software that unifies analytical data information of all types into a single interface.
Composed of three tightly integrated industry-leading modules, UV-IR Manager provides the ability to manipulate and manage optical spectra in a continuous range from 1cm-1 to 100 000cm-1, while taking advantage of advanced chemical drawing and reporting features.
UV-IR Processor provides an easy-to-use interface for peak fitting, baseline correction, and analysis and interpretation of Raman spectra, along with structure integration and reporting tools.
Michael Boruta, optical spectroscopy product manager at ACD/Labs, states, "We are pleased to be working with Mesophotonics to make our software available to their customers".
"We believe Sers to be a growing market with a strong need for software tools to assist in the analysis, interpretation, management, and linking of structures and spectrum-structure correlations with Raman spectra." Steve Allen, VP analytical business of Mesophotonics, states, "We are delighted to include ACD/Labs UV-IR software with our instruments".
"For our customers this means access to their excellent processing and interpretation tools".
"The ease with which you can annotate and interpret spectra, add structures, and create reports makes their software a valuable addition to our instruments."
