Nonlinear Dynamics, a global provider of bioinformatics, has announced the appointment of Christian Stahlberg as applications specialist
In the applications specialist role, Christian Stahlberg will be involved across a range of development projects, in particular helping to bring the new 'Technologies' product range to market.
His responsibilities include working with key users and evaluators and connecting their input to Nonlinear's rapid research and development process.
This appointment supports Nonlinear's reputation of building close relationships with customers and developing innovative products that match the real needs of users.
Stahlberg joins Nonlinear from GE Healthcare, where he worked for six years as a key member of the development team responsible for DeCyder before managing the DeCyder Extended Data Analysis (EDA) project.
David Bramwell, technical director of Nonlinear Dynamics, said: "Christian brings with him a wealth of experience in both technical development and customer facing responsibilities making him an ideal candidate for the applications specialist role".
"He will play a crucial part in Nonlinear's customer focussed application development process.
"This latest appointment underlines the company's focus in maintaining and improving our own high standards in delivering the tools that keep our users ahead of the technology curve." Christian Stahlberg commented: "I am looking forward to working with Nonlinear users, assisting them to achieve the benefits of the software in the wider biological context of their research and therefore interpret their data at a different level.
"Nonlinear's products are simply world-class and it is exciting to be joining the team behind them.
"The company operates a very dynamic development infrastructure and there are some hugely promising projects in the pipeline".
"I am pleased to have the opportunity to input on these new technologies from a grassroots level, through to realising their potential in the life-sciences marketplace."
