DeltaNu, a manufacturer of chemical-sensing equipment, has announced the appointment of Rick Cox to the position of vice president of sales and marketing
After receiving his doctorate in analytical chemistry from the University of Wyoming in 1994, Rick Cox was employed as an application scientist by Perstorp Analytical of Silver Spring, Maryland.
He then joined ABB-Bomem of Quebec City, Canada in the position of product manager for analytical instrumentation.
Prior to joining DeltaNu, Cox was executive vice president and chief technical officer of Laramie-based Well Dog.

DeltaNu was formed in 1997 by two University of Wyoming professors and a seasoned entrepreneur.
The company's technology was developed using nearly US$4 million of funding from the federal Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) programme.
The company manufactures a number of instruments serving the research, education, industrial and forensic markets.
