Guava Technologies, a developer of cell-analysis systems for life science research, drug discovery, development and clinical diagnostics, has made major investment in customer-facing personnel
Paul Wheeler, Guava's director of European and African operation, stated: "Since the beginning of 2006 Guava Technologies has been expanding its organisation in Europe with extra sales, administrative, technical and service staff.
"Through investing in our own European technical and service department we have created for our customers a network of highly trained support staff to ensure instruments run efficiently and accurately, technical queries are answered quickly and workflow interruptions are kept to a minimum".
Now with highly trained support staff based throughout Europe - Guava Technologies technical and service department aims within one day to answer all enquiries by telephone.
Where an instrument repair is required, Guava Technologies can either repair the instrument at the customer site within 48-72 hours, or send a same specification replacement instrument within that timescale, for use during the repair period.
Guava Technologies, a privately held biotechnology company, is the leading provider of on-demand, easy-to-use single cell analysis systems.
Guava Personal Cell Analysis (PCA) systems, including the Guava PCA, Guava PCA-96 and Guava EasyCyte systems, are integrated, fully optimised, microcapillary cytometry systems with embedded absolute cell counting capability.
Used worldwide by the life sciences, biotechnology, and pharmaceutical industries, as well as clinical testing institutions (outside the United States and Europe), Guava's products have broad applications in scientific research and throughout the drug discovery and lead optimisation process, as well as for cell counting and optimisation of commercial biopharmaceutical production.
Guava offers a variety of assays and dedicated software modules for the Guava PCA systems, enhancing the system's overall ease-of-use.
