Europrobe has obtained the renewal for four years of its former Afnor validation for the Lumiprobe 24 Salmonella species method
March 2005: Europrobe has obtained the renewal for four years of its former Afnor validation for the Lumiprobe 24 Salmonella species method (reference: EUR 15/2-11/00).
The method is validated for all human and animals food products.
This validation renewal has been conducted in accordance with the new EN ISO 16 140 rules, and by comparison with the NF EN ISO 6579 , 2002 reference method .
The former NordVal approval for Lumiprobe 24 Salmonella species method (reference: 2003-20-5408-00008) is in the course of being also renewed .
April 2005: Lumiprobe 24 Salmonella species method and Listeria monocytogenes kit have obtained for Russia the approval from the hygiene and food sanitation authorities.
June 2005: Lumiprobe 24 Listeria monocytogenes method is presently under the Afnor validation procedure, starting with raw milk and dairy products .
The preliminary study , which is conducted by an expert laboratory registered by Afnor is now completed .
September 2005: The results of the preliminary study have been approved by the Afnor bureau .
The last step of the validation, the collaborative study, will be undertook in the course of the 4th quarter and the results will be submitted to the Afnor bureau in early December 2005 .
December 2005 : The results of the collaborative study are approved by the Afnor bureau.
As a result, the Lumiprobe 24 Listeria monocytogenes method for raw milk and dairy products is Afnor validated.
