Data Translation has been continually adding to its USB product range over the past year and now has over 80 USB solutions for test, measurement and control
To help users choose which one is right for their application, the company has published a new four-page brochure which gives an overview of the ranges and products.
The brochure is available now and can be sent either in hardcopy form or it can be downloaded as a PDF file from Data Translation's website .
The PDF version has live clickable links to take you to full product descriptions and other product related material.
The USB data acquisition modules fall into four categories, low cost, general purpose, high performance and DSP.
The high performance USB modules offer up to 12 simultaneous inputs with sampling rates from 225KHz to 2.0MHz per channel, 16-bit resolution on up to 32 channels at 500KHz, two counter/timers and three quadrature decoders for measuring position and detecting rotational speed, and 16-bit deglitched DACs for pure waveform generation.
The general purpose USB modules offer a full range of multifunction modules, 16-bit analogue input channels at sampling rates up to 100KHz,12, 16 or 24-bit resolution, two analogue outputs, 16 digital I/O lines and two counter/timers, and 96 digital I/O.
The low cost Econ series of USB modules offer a range of analog input channels (6, 8, 16 or 24), simultaneous sampling rates up to 150KHz, two analogue outputs, 16 digital I/O lines with one counter/timer, packaged with the Go application for oscilloscope, chart recorder, voltmeter, file viewer, analogue output, digital I/O and counter/timer functions.
The DSP USB modules offer 8, 24-bit Delta-Sigma A/D converters, two or eight 24-bit Delta-Sigma D/A converters, 24 digital I/O, three counter/timers, uses the 300MHz Texas Instruments TMS320C6713 DSP chip.
