In sorting mode the SADE SP Benchtop can be used for weight sorting batches of tablets or capsules into accept and reject categories by setting an upper and lower limit.
The sort limits can be chosen or calculated as a percentage of the target weight.
Detailed sort reports with statistical analysis and a basic histogram can be printed at any time.
In sample checkweighing mode the SADE SP Benchtop can be used to checkweigh samples of tablets and capsules to Pharmacopoeia A and B limits to provide average weight control and statistical analysis.
The sample size is adjustable and can be set to a maximum of 1000 items.
A report is produced for each sample and includes a list of the individual weights.
Results of the samples can be accumulated and a batch summary produced.
The accuracy of the SADE SP Benchtop is +/- 1mg, it can handle many different shapes and sizes without the need for any change parts, and the unit is easy to set up and use.
Contact parts are manufactured in electro-polished 316 stainless steel and the machine is easy to dismantle and clean between products.
The SADE SP Benchtop can store the name, code and target weight of up to 150 products and the unit can be configured to restrict access to authorised users only.
For the transfer of data to a PC CI Electronics now offers SP Connect software.
This enables users to create secure encrypted copies of reports generated by the SADE SP for storage on designated files and export weight and statistical data into Excel files for further analysis.
