As life science firms continue to recognize the advantages of outsourcing product development and research work, the need to identify and coordinate such projects efficiently is critical
The Center for Professional Innovation and Education (CfPIE) will present its new training course, 'Outsourcing preclinical toxicology studies', on October 30 and 31, 2006 at the Desmond Hotel and Conference Center in Malvern, PA, USA.
As life science firms continue to recognize the advantages of outsourcing product development and research work, the need to identify and coordinate such projects efficiently is critical.
'Outsourcing preclinical toxicology studies' is a two day training programme that will instruct attendees how to identify potential contract research organisations (CROs), selecting the right CRO to conduct their toxicology study, and managing the study and the relationship with the selected CRO.
This course will be of benefit to those responsible for the selection and managing of a CRO, including job descriptions such as (but not limited to) toxicologists (pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies), outsourcing professionals, senior and operational management, procurement personnel, quality assurance professionals, clinical veterinarians, consultants, CRO management and scientists, CRO business development and client services personnel.
