This portable, mid-infrared tool builds upon the established foundation of ReactIR technology, proven successful for more than ten years
Mettler Toledo's ReactIR iC10 offers numerous features including: reaction start/stop profiling - invaluable information for reaction time and safety; reaction progress - real-time monitoring to determine reaction rate and progress; intermediates monitoring - determines unwanted accumulations and optimised dosing; concentration monitoring - valuable metric for crystallisations and yield/conversion.
ReactIR technology experienced several improvement phases, bringing it to a level of wide acceptance as the universal reaction analysis tool in process research and development (PRD) labs.
ReactIR iC10 serves the needs of organic and process chemists in PRD labs.
Ideally suited for in-situ monitoring of chemical reaction species, it uses a flexible (chalcogenide) mid-infrared fibre optic conduit coupled with a versatile 6mm diameter diamond ATR probe (DiComp) to provide real-time analysis of chemical reaction characteristics and species - including reaction initiation/end point, mechanism, kinetics and intermediates.
The ReactIR system is equipped with easy-to-use, applications software that guides users through the initial setup and collection of reaction data.
Automated features such as solvent/water vapour subtraction, functional group profiling and Concirt Live automatically transform infrared spectral data into reaction information without the need for any specialised user input or configuration.
