For scientific mums at the end of their tether, the mums in science web portal says it is just what they need
Euroscicon, a European life science meeting organisation, announces the first anniversary of MumsinScience.
Mums in Science is a one-stop resource for busy scientific mums.
No longer do they need to spend time searching for the many difference resources available for people in their situation.
This site keeps them informed of changes in legislation, provides information on work-life balance and has targeted information on parenting.
"This site makes a huge difference to the lives of mothers in all aspects of science, we already have numerous articles posted to the site and there is an abundance of information there" said Shara Cohen, chief executive officer of Mums in Science.
"There is no other resource like this and in our first year we have grown beyond expectation, we have had some wonderful feedback and are now looking to expand by inviting scientific mums to contribute their own articles".
Mums in Science was created in August 2005.
