Lab M (Bury, Lancs, UK), a microbiology culture media specialist, has been awarded supplier status by NHS National Services Scotland
The contract to supply culture media will run to the end of May 2009.
Mike Iddon, Lab M's sales and marketing manager, acknowledged the importance to the company of having the opportunity to supply culture media in this area: "Lab M is currently in a period of considerable growth and development and we are very pleased to further extend our products and services in Scotland.
"Although we are known primarily for our dehydrated culture media, and in particular our chromogenic and anaerobic media, we also offer a wide range of supplements.
"This product portfolio enables us to support the requirements of clinical laboratories throughout the UK."
