William Andrew Publishing and Formulator Software announced at HBA their release of the integration of the Cosmetics and Toiletries Formulation Database with the Cosmetics version of Formulator
The Cosmetic and Toiletries database offers the Cosmetic Chemist more than 10,000 prototype formulations for a range of cosmetic products.
This will allow users to easily transfer raw material, formulary and procedural data directly into Formulator's Lab Book saving considerable time and effort.
This Cosmetics and Toiletries Formulation Database is a compilation of eight print volumes by Ernest Flick.
The cosmetic chemist, consultant and researcher will be able to install the data on their Windows based computer and with Formulator also installed; they will be able to selectively import formulations with their ingredients into Formulator for analysis and testing.
This release follows the July 2006 integration of Sittig's Hazardous Chemicals Database feeding hazardous materials data into the Regulator MSDS generator module of the Formulator suite.
Future releases will include the integration of formulation databases in paint and ink and cleaning products.
