Toshiba America Information Systems announces the promotion of Derrick Christy to the newly created position of director of the medical/factory automation business unit
The appointment becomes effective October 1, 2006.
Prior to this position, Christy served as the OEM sales and sales engineering manager, Toshiba America Information Systems, also in Irvine, California.
Christy is a 15-year Toshiba veteran and in his new position he will be reporting directly to Toshiba Imaging Systems Division's vice president and general manager Tatsuo Murayama.
Toshiba Imaging Systems Division provides sophisticated 3CCD colour cameras, high performance colour and monochrome CCD video cameras, remote heads, monitors and advanced digital imaging solutions for applications in machine vision, medical and scientific markets.
