Sedna Scientific has signed an exclusive agreement with Schaerfe Systems of Germany to distribute the Casy cell counter and analysis systems and associated consumable products in the UK and Ireland
The Casy systems determine total cell counts, viable cells, dead cells, cell debris and cell aggregates simultaneously in one measurement.
Cell and particle concentrations are also given, as well as cell diameter and cell volume measurements.
Casy systems are used worldwide in many fields of application, including oncology, immunology, toxicology, bioprocess control, pharmacology, parasitology, cell culture control, haematology, apoptosis research, QC laboratories and the brewing industry.
The systems are simple to use, have very low operating costs and minimal maintenance requirements.
For operation within GMP/GLP facilities the analysers provide full 21CFR11 compliance.
