Epigentek announced that it released the Methylamp whole cell bisulphite modification kit which allows the DNA modification to be processed directly using cells or tissues
All current methods for DNA modification need to use the isolated DNA as starting material, which leads to inability to achieve enough modified DNA from a tiny amount of tissue or cell samples such as microdissection cells and early embryonic cells/oocytes.
Epigentek's innovative method used in the kit eliminates the requirement for DNA isolation/purification prior to bisulfite modification.
