Lamy Rheology have produced an application file covering the use of their RM100 Touch viscometer for the measurement of dynamic viscosity changes of resins over the range 70 to 105ºC.
Lamy Rheology Instruments’s RM Touch universal viscometer is an easy to use rotating viscometer with an intuitive programmable 7-inch touchscreen. Lamy have produced an informative application file detailing its use for measuring the dynamic viscosity changes of two different resins over the temperature range 70ºC to 105ºC at 10 minute intervals using the VISCO-RM software.
Graphical representation shows changes in kinetics viscosity based on temperature allowing conclusions to be reached concerning safe resin working temperatures. Comparison of different products by curve superimposition will provide important information about the ability of the different products to withstand changes in temperature with respect to their temperature.
